Let it Snow!

I love the Snow and I'm pretty sure that we have gotten more snow this December than we did all of last Winter. I remember being so depressed last December because it did NOT feel like Christmas....but this year my wish has come true and it's SNOWING!

This was probably a week ago! She loved the snow!

Olivia loves the snow. It's magical to her. Heck, what am I saying? It's magical to ME too! You can tell by Steve's face above that it is also magical to him! There is something about snow that just warms the heart. There is something about it all that adds excitement to the season.

Little Facts

So I was reading a blog I read pretty much everyday called Freckels In April and she did a little challenge today called 3 little facts and I thought it looked like fun!

3 Little Facts about yours truly---

1. Naps--I love them. My sweet grandpa took a nap almost everyday of his life and I like to think that I follow in his footsteps. Sadly, reality kicks in and I don't get to take one everyday but I always wish that I could. I love me a good nap!

2. Day Dreams-- I day dream about being on Broadway. Or singing broadway material in front of a huge audience. I don't really want to be a broadway singer-I don't want that lifestyle and I wouldn't change a thing about my life but it's fun to have fantasies isn't it?

3. Excitement--I get overly excited to get the mail...pretty much on a daily basis. hehe!

Things we miss!

So living in Albuquerque definitely has its up sides. There are wonderful people here, the weather is wonderful, eating green chiles on a daily basis is always good, being 2 minutes from numerous trails, delicious mexican food, going to a park in the middle of winter, etc... ALL wonderful.... but is it okay to miss some things of where you use to live? Because lately we really do.

You spend your whole life wanting to grow up, wanting to get out of high school to go to college, enjoying college but getting excited about graduation, but sometimes don't you want to go back to those carefree days? I really don't... that's not really my point. I don't want to go back to school and I definitely do NOT want to redo my student teaching, I don't want to have to do homework, or worry about completing a project..... but I do want to go back to Logan. It's funny, when I first moved to Logan I remember thinking "I could never live here forever".... but now... yes now, I think I could live there permanently and be in complete bliss! Steve and I dream about it sometimes....living there, working our way to own a lot of land....always being involved with the greatest school on the planet, and enjoying the quaint little valley. So yes, my dream place to live (atleast for the moment.. is Logan, Utah!) Steve would love it as well.... although I'm pretty sure his number 1 is still and probably always will be Chicago.

So what is it about Logan? Well first..........Need I say more?

The community is so involved in the school and I love that! We have so much Aggie Pride that it would be so wonderful to be around the school, the students, and the vibe there! Just thinking about it brings me chills!

We would have access to this goodness anytime we wanted! Yes... it is our very favorite! Not to mention the Aggie Ice cream we could devour!

I could go running in Logan Canyon on the River trail! What a great run! I could go to Second Dam and roast marshmallows with friends, I would kiss my husband on the A just like all these fine folks!

Okay okay you get the point... We love Utah State, and Logan, and everything having to do with it! We even love the freezing cold winters in our own way!

I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO THINK WE ARE UNHAPPY WHERE WE ARE......cause we are, so happy.... but it's okay to think about the future and dream right? :)

The Weather

It is February 1st...and I walked outside with nothing but a light sweater and I wasn't cold!!! Sure don't miss those Logan winters!!! But I do miss Logan.

Leap Year

LOVED this movie! I encourage all who enjoy a lighthearted romantic comedy to GO SEE IT! Seriously, nothing grand or spectacular just down right whitty and I LOVED IT! Best romantic comedy I've seen in a long time!!!

Tour De France!

That's right, this year I have been a Tour De France fanatic! Steve and I get up early every morning just so we can watch it and cheer for the one and only Lance Armstong. I know I can already hear half of you saying things like...." He totally does drugs, they just can't catch him" and "He dated Mary Kate Olsen, that's disgustin!" And so many other things. I don't agree with half the things he has done with his life,and I don't believe he has used drugs, I just think he is an amazing athlete! After 4 years he is still Amazing and I hope he wins it all....AGAIN! Go Lance! Livestrong!

Anne of Green Gables

For those of you who have not seen Anne of Green Gables, it is one of my all time favorite movies! I have such fond memories of watching it with my sister and my mom. I love Anne with an E! Seriously, This movie makes me so happy inside!

A couple of weeks ago, The boys were going to go to Fathers and Sons Campout so Steve's Sister and Mom and I were going to Watch Anne of Green Gables. the Campout was canceled because of weather but we told the boys that they couldn't ruin our fun!!! So the boys went out and us girls had a blast watching this wonderful classic! Steve's Dad came in at the end and ruined all our fun, haha no only kidding!

Dorothy

Dorothy is my car....she is a beautiful red Mazda 3 and I love her.....until she decided to be stupid! She is dead....as in her battery is dead but dead dead! Because she is a manual you can push her and she will jump start herself......usually......but not today! NOOOOOO today she has to be stupid and she is dead. We had about five people pushing her, and she wouldn't start.........I am very upset with her.....we even tried to use jumper cables but once again......she's being stupid! I just hope that it is just a battery problem and not an alternator problem....because THAT would just be way too expensive.....sorry about the vent.....

What to Read????

Steve and I went to Borders last night, we were there for atleast an hour. I was looking around at all the books, I love to read novels, fantasy, history, really anything that is GOOD!! Anyway, last night I really wanted to find a good novel and nothing looked good. The other problem is that I didn't want to buy a book that I didn't know if I would like. Finally, I decided to look in the History section and I got Flag of Our Fathers by James Bradley. I love it so far! WOW!!! He is an amazing writer and the story he writes about is phenomenal. The book is all about the six men who raised the flag at Iwo Jima in WWII. It's pretty awesome. Nevertheless....I still need ideas of good books....I know many of you read so PLEASE give me a few ideas of books and authors that are good! Thanks a bunch!!

CRAZY

Hey Everyone,
First of all sorry about the HUGE picture on our blog....I need to fix that I just havne't had any time and my computer has been stupid.

I haven't blogged in forever because our lives are absolutely CRAZY. We figured with school, studying, and work we probably are working about 60 hours a week EACH and we are absolutely exhausted. I will have to tell you more later but I have to run to my next class.
