Okay so I have had other things I have been focusing on this week and as a result my home making skills have really lagged.....The apt is a disaster! I've been spending most of the morning cleaning cleaning and cleaning....I'm not a clean freak but I do like things mostly clean and it has just gone too far. When you walk in your bedroom and you never actually step on the carpet you KNOW there is a problem. Too much info? :) Okay the bedroom is always the messiest because I want the rest of the apt to look clean so I end up throwing anything that doesn't have a place into the bedroom. Yes I know, it's awful.

Sweet Bean is napping right now (lets hope its longer than her 30 minutes nap this morning. Does 30 minutes even count as a nap?) and I should be cleaning, or doing laundry, or making a grocery list, or making phone calls.....but sometimes I just need time to stop and do something for myself.

Blogging is definitely for me. I love having readers, but thats not why I blog. For the first time in my life I actually ENJOY writing. It's an outlet. Its a way to express myself. Its a way to de-stress. I LOVE it.

I know I'm the only one being silly...

We are silly around here. If any of you know me well you know that I really am more serious natured. That doesn't mean that I don't laugh as much as others or that I don't have a sense of humor. It just means that I tend to focus on the NEEDS and HAVE TO's first. I'm the type of person that thinks you should work before you play (which I think is good) however, sometimes I forget the play. This is why my husband is absolutely PERFECT for me. He KNOWS HOW TO PLAY! He is so much fun and always livens the place up! He compliments me so well. I love that.

So I am serious natured. But then occasionally something snaps in me and I get just downright silly. Slap happy is a good term for it. Why is laying in bed trying to fall asleep always a silly time? Steve and I are so silly as we try to fall asleep. Half the time I have no idea what we are laughing about but seriously it happens almost every night. I find myself especially silly around Olivia. You know all the crazy faces and voices you make just to get a baby to smile? I do them ALL the time around her and soemtimes I just get silly thinking about how silly I must look? Is it worth it? Absolutely! We really are silly together.
