Jackson Hole!

Over the 4th of July Steve and I went to Jackson Hole! It is so incredibly beautiful up there! I have come to the conclusion that everyone needs to experience a 4th of July up in Jackson. We got there at midnight on the 3rd. We woke up the next morning to a beautiful morning and you could smell the pinetrees in the air! In jackson on the 4th they have what is called Music in the Hole. It's a beautiful musical production done by a fabulous symphony (the members were selected from all over the country). They play a bunch of patriotic songs and it is absolutely phenomenal. Well in order to get good seats you have to go to the "land rush" early that morning. I figured it would be one of those things that the guys got up early to do, but oh NO, Steve wasn't letting me miss out, so I went too. The countdown was over and the sprint began....I was elbowed by some joker who thought he could beat us to our spot, yeah right! We got our spot all staked out and then some more jokers thought they could set up their spot right in the middle of ours. Obviously, I told them very nicely that it was our spot and they couldn't have it!!:) We got an amazing spot and the music was incredible!!!
Here are some pics of "Music in the Hole" We also hiked up "The King" the mountain they shoot the famous jackson hole fireworks off of. We did it during the day and then we watched the amazing fireworks at night there. We got great seats on the lawn in front of the mountain and the fireworks were practically over our heads!!! Honestly, they were the best fireworks I have ever seen in my entire life! They had like four or five mini finales and then there was no question when the grand finale finally came! It was breathtaking and we all enjoyed it! I felt so patriotic on the 4th and nobody knew it but I started to tear up when we were singing the national anthem, I'm a Daw, it's what we do! Anyway here are more pics!
Steve's brother Dave and I made it up first.....it was great!!!
At the top!!

It was a great weekend! We also we floated the flat creek in inner tubes and it was a blast. We all got cut up a bit, but it was so worth it! I love the 4th of July!!!!
