It's that time of year to make new resolutions. I sat down on Sunday and made mine. I'm not focused on a number per say but simply to do better at certain things. I think sometimes numbers can be so discouraging because the minute you don't reach those numbers- you forget all about it and feel as if you have already quit--atleast that's what happens to me.
So this year it is simply about doing better. Being better. A better friend, a better wife, a better mother. I want to think more of others. I want to welcome more people into my home. I want to exercise more frequently. I want my business to grow. I want to spend more hands on time with my girl. I want to go on vacation with
only my husband. I want to be more productive on a daily basis. I want to pray more sincerely. I want to serve more diligently. I want to love more.
I know there will be times that I fail- many times. There will be set backs during this year, I'm sure. But I hope, that at the end of this year, I can say that I did better. That I'm a better person. That I struggled and learned. That I'm a little bit of a different person. A better one.

Isn't the thought of a clean slate, a brand new year, fill you with hope and excitement? I feel refreshed and renewed and I plan to make 2012 a wonderful year. I can't wait to find out what it holds for me.
