Easter blessings.

The Easter bunny visited our house this year...isn't she cute? Who knew the Easter bunny was such a cute little girl!

Thank You Kaye!
Yes watching little girl look through her Easter basket was cute, I am a huge fan of traditions(so the fact that we didn't dye eggs this year really makes me sad...but when neither of us like to eat hard boiled eggs it makes it a little less motivating) so even though little bean didn't get the concept I figured she needed an Easter basket anyway. The bunny knew just what to bring her! She is so ready for summer.

We missed being away from our families on this holiday but we have our own little family now and we are learning and growing together. Olivia is so much fun. It is so Fun to see her little personality Blossom. She is a silly girl. Within the last two days she has really discovered her voice. Its not quiet coos like she use to make either. She squawks and it's loud and it's hilarious. Yesterday we attended a baptism for 2 Hispanic men. The baptism was beautiful and it was wonderful to see these two men go down into the waters and be cleansed from their sins. It was a beautiful experience and everyone was quiet and reverent during this beautiful experience...except squawker girl who squawked through the whole thing....silly silly silly. She was so loud!

I totally won this cute little shirt on a blog giveaway! wahoo!
Today we had the opportunity to go to church and celebrate the true meaning for this blessed holiday. We were so blessed and got to hear from an apostle of the Lord. Elder Quentin L. Cook. He spoke to us about how we should incorporate the message of the Risen Lord into our lives and it was a beautiful message. The spirit was so strong in the meeting. It was a perfect Sunday.

We have a Savior who suffered and died for us. We have a Savior who has Risen. He lives! Today in church we sang one of my favorite hymns and this line really touched me as the spirit testified of the truth. "oh sweet, the joy this sentence gives: I know that my Redeemer lives!" I know that He lives and I am so grateful for that knowledge.

Hope you had a wonderful Easter as well!

Oh my goodness, I just want to give her a billion kisses. :) She's definitely the cutest Easter Bunny I've ever seen!! :)

And amen - I love that hymn! By the way, your parents are just amazing. They both spoke in Sacrament Meeting yesterday, and the Spirit was sooo strong. It was cute of your Dad to have your mom sit by him on the stand :) Ahhh, I just love the Daw family!! :)
