another GLORIOUS weekend!

I love the weekends! It is the only thing that keeps me going through the week! Steve and I had such a blast this past weekend! On friday, we did the usual with the Putnams by playing Ticket to Ride and Sequence (we never get sick of it...it's great!), then we watched Heroes...it is pretty gruesome and graphic which is the downside but it is extremely interesting, then the best of all we went to TRUE AGGIE NIGHT! For those of you unaware of our fabulous tradition here at Utah State I will explain.....There is a statue of an "A" for aggies of course up on Campus. At midnight on certain occasions like a full moon, homecoming, or A day (which is what friday was)people go up to the A at midnight and kiss at midnight to become a true aggie! It is such a fun thing! If it is a full moon then you have to be kissed by someone who is already a true aggie but otherwise any two people can kiss and become true aggies together! Our second kiss ever was on the A when Steve made me a true aggie so it will always have good memories for us! This is my friend from forever who I saw get engaged to ON THE A!!!! AHHH!!!! I didn't even know it was her until she came off of the A and then I freaked out and ran over to give her a hug!

Saturday was also a great day, after quickly cleaning the apartment so we could go out and play Steve went to go watch the Bulls game with his brother....I'm still hearing about what a great game it is....pooh! I hate the bulls!!!!...haha! I went and got my nails done with Whitney, she persuaded me to buy a cute red purse which I wouldn't have done without her, and then we came back and painted our toe nails ourselves!! I love pampering myself!

After all the pampering Steve, Scottie, and I went to the Football scrimage! It was fun to see....the team looks better, not great, but definitely better! The coaches all had shirts on that said "Respect the process" to help the team remember that they aren't going to be great overnight. It was such a beautiful day and we all got a little burned on our faces and we loved it!

Saturday night we went with the Wayne's to see the movie..State of Play....it was a GREAT movie and I would recommend it to everyone! I love movies with a great plot! Afterwards we went to a great ice cream place called Caspers which makes you feel like you are in the fifties....it was so yummy too! The Wayne's are great.....Holy Frappe! hahahahaha! Mark lost his wallet at the movie theater but luckily the next day he found it!

I can't forget to mention Sunday because it is usually the best day of the weekend! My visiting teachers came to visit me and they are just wonderful! Church was wonderful as usual and I love being able to go and feel of the spirit and feel renewed for a new week. After church and dinner Steve and I went on an hour and a half long walk all over Logan. I love walks!!! It was a beautiful night but by the time we got home I was freexing because the sun had gone down. What a glorious weekend we had! We love life!!!
