Her first REAL experience trick or treating!

Oh Halloween! I love Halloween. Really, it is one of my favorites- probably because it begins the whole slew of holidays this time of year.

I think Halloween is magical! To watch Olivia's light up as we ran from door to door was just breathtaking. She was in absolute awe as people kept giving her candy, utter delight as she knocked on each door.
Okay so it didn't start out great but it ended wonderfully!
It was no shocker that I dressed her up as Minnie Mouse. If you know my girl even a little, you know how much she LOVES Minnie. If I ask her who her friends are she says, "Minnie, Pwuto, mickey, goofy, Daisy, Donal, Pete, On Dwake (professor Von Drake)" Actually she puts an a before each one so it's more like "aMinnie, aPwuto etc..." Too cute for words. She loves her friends! Really- she's a girl after my own heart :) I'm excited to take her to Disneyland again next year- she'll be in heaven.

After a while the ears started hurting her so she would give them to me but then people would ask who she was and she would come and grab her ears and ask me to put them back on! Smart little minnie!
We went trick or treating with her 8 Year old cousin (technically Steve's cousin) and she out trick or treated him. He was ready to be done about half way through but Olivia would run from door to door saying "more more more!"- we were out for a little over an hour and the only reason we convinced her to be done was I told her she could have a succor- her favorite candy- it did the trick!

A couple of houses were all decked out and somewhat spooky. She does this cute thing now where she will cover her eyes and say "scawy" She is pretty brave though!

Waiting to give out candy!
It was really magical watching her run from door to door and enjoying every bit of this special night- especially since she has been sick the 3 days prior. It really got me excited thinking about how this is the best time of my life- because it is the time where I get to live each and every moment through her eyes- it doesn't get any better than that!
