another month older

Let's talk about my girl for a moment.
This girl loves people. She wants to be around people all the time. If we are outside playing and she sees someone a mile away- she will start walking towards them and yelling at them!

Speaking of yelling...this girl is loud. She jabbers almost non stop and its loud. We were in the grocery store the other day and she was loud as loud can be. A few isles down we ran into a man who said "oh so that must have been her I heard from all the way over here!" yes...yes it was.
She loves her daddy. At first I thought she was going to be a daddy's girl (which made me a little, okay a lot sad) but that doesn't quite put a description on it. She's always been an equal opportunity lover but she just wants her mom and her dad for different things. Makes sense to me. But she loves when daddy comes home and once he is home- she will follow him wherever he goes! (it's nice to have a break every now and then)
She thinks she is big. She wants to be a big kid,and in fact she is. We go out and play on the playground and she follows the big kids around. (Big kid meaning anyone bigger than her...even if only slightly). A few weeks back we were playing with a little 3 year old boy. He kept rolling down this hill and she wanted to be where he was so she would follow him. Only one problem, she doesn't quite have the balance to walk down a hill yet- so toppled she did (don't worry I controlled the topple) and loved it. She follows around all the "big" kids.
Put her in a group full of kids and she holds her own. She doesn't usually let other kids push her around or steal her toys. She just does her thing and fits right in, its pretty adorable to watch. She's so go with the flow.

At nighttime she loves to run around in her diaper. She will run from one side of the apartment to the other, back and forth, with her arms swinging and her little voice sqwaking.
She loves to eat. Cheese, ham, yogurt (her absolute favorite), chips, crackers, MAC N' CHEESE, pasta, toast, eggs, you name it- she likes it.

She doesn't love bath- time like she use to. Ever since we came back from vacay after Christmas she is slightly afraid of the water and I am not sure why. It takes a little coaxing to get her in, but once she is in she has a good time.

She LOVES doggies, and we aren't getting one anytime soon, but we have made lots of doggy friends at the park. She even does her own version of a doggy barking. Too cute. She also LOVES to be outside- even if it's chilly outside- she wants to be outside!
5 out of the last 7 days this week she has slept ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE NIGHT! FINALLY....I think we have finally hit that milestone. I'm sure we'll still have "nights" but I think I can now officially say that my baby girl is a sleeper girl, and she sleeps through the night. Oh the bliss! 13 months later and we've arrived!

She loves her dolly's! She gives them better hugs than she does to us. She also loves HER ipad. haha!
Not actually her dolly- but she liked it just the same!

She's my little joy!
