Me and the Bean

I love staying home with my girl everyday. I'm grateful for a job that allows me to do so. We really have a lot of fun together and I just wanted to jot down some of the things that we usually do together on a daily basis just so that I never forget. These are the little things that make me happy. These are the little things that make my day filled with lots of joy and laughter. These are the little things that I hope to continue throughout her life. And then I hope that she will look back at these things and feel grateful for the wonderful times she was able to share with her momma.

Bean and me
I got my hair highlighted about a month ago but this picture makes it look absolutely awful, ignore please: )

We love to dance around the apartment. Confession: we may or may not dance to Justin bieber on a daily basis. Hey, I can't help it if she has the fever.

We read stories every night before bedAs i've mentioned before the girl can't get enough of her books. I know she doesn't mind reading the same books over and over again, I, on the other hand could really use some new books. Mommy can only take so much of Green Eggs and Ham.

She loves when I sing to her. I sing a lot of primary songs to her. "I am a child of God." "If the Savior stood beside me." " A child's prayer" but recently we have been singing lots of wonderful disney classics "Can you Feel the love tonight?" "A whole new world." "Part of your World" and so many other great ones. It's been a good refresher for me as well.

The two of us go on lots of walks. The weather is so beautiful here (except lately because of the stupid WIND...Grrr) and we have been taking advantage of it. The best part is that she just stares up at me while she is in her stroller and just smiles. oh how she smiles.

And then sometimes we take naps together. I love laying next to her hearing her little tiny breathe and watching her tummy slowly rise and fall. I love her smell. I love how she cuddles her head into my chest as she falls asleep. I will always cherish these naps.

We have fun together. I know we will continue to do so.

(something is wrong with my computer and for some reason the words above will only stay underlined. sorry I know it looks lame.)

(FYI: there are times when we don't have so much fun together. For example: when she decides to get up every hour in the middle of the night...yeah not so much fun. haha)

Cute post and photo Lau. Our favorite board books are by Sandra Boynton. She is great and funny and the cutest pics. I find them for cheap at Ross.
Also, I made pesto last night! I used Walnuts though cause my dad gave me a huge bag and I didn't know what to do with them all! We putit on grilled cheese sandwiches--yummy!
Do you know if you are coming yet?

I love your blog except for the reality check about the getting up every hour in the middle of the night! I have 8 weeks to go and it is so exciting to hear about all of the sweet things you are doing with the exception of that cold hard reality! She is absolutely adorable!
