Are you an Introvert or an Extravert? Many people confuse these two traits... They automatically think that an introvert is quiet and very shy and that an extravert is extremely outgoing and lively... that seems to make sense but it is not true. My mother always gave me the best definition of the two.. She would say, "Lauren when you go to a party do you come home excited, pumped up, full of energy? or Do you come home feeling tired, glad to be home, and ready to have your alone time? (even though you may have had a great time at the party)"
I am an Extravert. Even though sometimes I am shy or quiet...and other times I am not. But I always love to interact lots with friends, family, and people. I rarely EVER need my alone time....I would prefer to always be around people and never be alone. I come home from an event or gathering filled with so much JOY and energy!!!! I love it!! But I Know many introverts as well....my husband being more of an Introvert than an extravert. But if you know Steve, he is definitely NOT shy! And he loves to be around people as well and at school he was such a little social butterfly....but he loves to come home! He loves to really relax after work and be able to rebuild up his energy.
So the question is...Do you build up your energy when you are out socializing and at parties or do you go to parties have a great time.. but then come home to rebuild? I think it is so fascinating.. especially since the two different types can be filled with so many different personality types.

Introvert, no question about it. I love to go and socialize and be with people, but I NEED alone time and love to spend it home in a quiet place.
Wow! And you're pregnant!!! That's so wonderful!!!! O my goodness, I looked at the ultrasounds and everything...so exciting!! I love your baby room ideas, your favorite was my favorite but you're absolutely right, the lady bugs are ADORABLE. And I have to say you look like you're in pretty good shape for being pregnant. Keep takin care of yourself girly!
I never realized that. I always thought I was an extrovert, but according to that definition I'm very much an introvert (hence why I'm reading your blog instead of hanging out with Paul's family downstairs... just need some alone time you know...) :)
