Seeing the Famiy was great!
-- I was able to be there for 2 sunday evenings where everyone came over to Mom and Dads. Sunday evenings are always an adventure....tons of kids running around, sometimes (haha most of the time) doing what they are NOT suppose to be doing, and several children fights! I LOVE IT! I love the madness and the chaos and I miss being around each and every one of them!
-- I was also able to see my Brother's new house which I LOVED...great pic Matt and Liz!
--Went to lunch with my dad
--Went to lunch with my dad, brother, and Sister's Family! Thanks Shari and Shawn for the invite! I love you so much!
--Got to go to my nephews birthday party! He's getting SO BIG!
--Experienced the flooding in Murray. The runoff came down too quickly this year which resulted in flooding all over! It was crazy! Dad was busy making sure everyone was okay! what a great guy!
--Spent lots of quality time with my dearest mother who I love so much! We always have the greatest time together and laugh quite a lot!
--My sis in law held an Arbonne workshop for me, she's pretty awesome like that! Thanks beebs, I love you!
-- Went to Dinner with my good friend Addie. We went to Noodles and Company which I LOVE, really miss that here! It was so great to see her and to CHAT about good things and catch up on life! We seem to have the funniest conversations! love ya gir!
--Went out to Lunch with Steve's sis and we had a blast! Thanks Meg!
The real reason I went to Utah was for my best friend Kelly's wedding! Oh How I love her! 2 nights before the wedding I got to spend some time with her and the boy and it was so GREAT! They were so wonderful together, seemed so happy, so pure, so WONDERFUL! It was such a blessing for me to get to know him a little bit more and as always to see sweet Kel!
The night before the wedding we had a bachelorette party for her at her parents house! We did our toes and fingernails! We listened to John Mayer (kelly's favorite), played a couple of funny games...including Pin the kiss on Nick...luckily I made it on the ear or something....awkward? haha
The wedding day was wonderful, the ceremony was so sweet and of course...I cried! It was so wonderful to see kelly making this wonderful decision in her life and I really couldn't be happier for her and Nick! I just LOVE YOU GUYS! here are just a few pics from the day, she looked gorgeous!
After the ceremony there was a luncheon which was DELICOUS! The Joseph Smith Memorial building has the best food! I felt like I had died and gone to heaven...yum!
The Reception was fun, and there was a great turnout! Everything looked perfect! Congratulations you guys!!!
After my trip to Utah I got sick, really sick! I thought it was a cold but it turned into more of a sinus infection and it was awful! I couldn't breathe but the worst part about it was the pressure headache I got from it! It was so bad that even my teeth hurt, truth be told it is still lingering...ugh! I hate being sick but I have a wonderful husband who took such good care of me, I'm not sure I deserve him! Love you sweetheart! Glad to be feeling more of myself!
I was so sick of laying on our Couch that Steve and I took a little drive and then a little walk.....to the OTHER SIDE OF THE MOUNTAINS! Albuquerque is a GREAT place, and I love it here but it is very deserty! We live literally right next to the Sandia mountains. Sandia means Watermelon and the mountains are very much like a watermelon. On the side where the city is (where we live) the mountains are more of a red rock..although they really aren't that red...but they don't have trees or much else that is green on them. BUT the other side is COMPLETELY GREEN...just like a watermelon! It didn't take long to get over there and we drove up the canyons and it was so beautiful, it had just rained and the smell was to die for. I felt like I was in Utah or Colorado! I loved how green it was, and how much it felt like MOUNTAINS!! It was very refreshing and a wonderful night with my husband!
That's all for now!! I'm glad I finally posted something new on my blog....sorry I've been such a slacker!

Oh I loved seeing you too!!! We'll have to make that a tradition anytime you're in town! Sorry we didn't talk about what we PLANNED on talking about but still. haha always great to catch up! Love you!
The mountains are pink when the sun sets. Pink like watermelon. That's why they're called the Sandias.
Oh Lar, you're so sweet!!! Thanks for the wonderful post! I'm so glad you could make it up. You're such a great friend, I love you to pieces & always miss you when you're away! Nick was saying how he wished you guys lived closer (or we lived closer to you guys) so that we could hang out more. Maybe someday!!
Sorry you've been so sick :( Boo. I hope you get feeling better soon!
