We spent most of our times swimming in the water. We swam out to an island in the middle of the lake, we went on the wave runners, Steve waterskiied for the first time and he got up on his first try. He's amazing! He had a blast. I wish I had pictures of him on the water skis but I forgot my camera on the boat. Some people made sandcastles but the best was my brother in law Shawn made a teepee here is a picture of it.
We also got to go on a boat ride with Shawn, and my mom and dad. We got up early to go see Rainbow Bridge. It's the largest natural Arch in the Country. After we got there in the boat we had to walk 2/3 of a mile to actually see the Arch. We were chased by a huge black bee and actually it was hilarious. The bee didn't leave us alone until Dad pulled out his fists and started punching it, that was even funnier! The Arch was beautiful!!

It was so fun to spend time with the family. We laughed a lot, listened to all the children laugh, cry, and scream. We played and played and played. Steve and I slept on top of the house boat and got to watch the beautiful sky. The last night was the best. The stars are so beautiful when there are no city lights to dim them. I watched the stars twinkle as I fell asleep.I almost forgot to mention Steve and I's fishing experience. We went to another beach not far from where ours was and there were 5-10 little fishes swimming around us. We probably spent 45 minutes trying to catch one. Just when we decided not to try anymore we caught our little fish friend!!! Don't worry, we put him back in the lake after we showed the kids!

We love Lake Powell!!!!
